The impact of your generosity on the lives of our clients and their families is immense and so valuable. We rely heavily on voluntary donations to fuel essential caring services and holistic wellbeing assistance, ensuring everybody receive invaluable care. Together, we extend a lifeline to families, providing essential care and comfort where it's needed most.
Many of the generous donations we receive are made in memory of a loved one. Gifts made in memory are a wonderful way to remember someone special.

We have some brilliant volunteer opportunities for your business. Our volunteering activities can be tailored to suit your companies needs and objectives.
Payroll Giving is a simple and tax efficient way to support the charities you love directly through your salary. You can make a difference by making a regular contribution to us through your payroll. Donations are deducted before income tax is applied, so you pay less! For example, if you are a basic rate tax payer (20%), you donate £10 and only £8 comes out of your salary and HMRC pays the rest. Or if you are a higher rate tax payer (40%), you pay £6 and HMRC pays the rest. Sign up to Payroll Giving to make a difference each and every pay day.

Do you buy for business? Get FREE donations for SDMHA on your regular purchases like office supplies, computing, ink & toner and business travel with over 150 well-known retailers such as Viking, Staples, Dell and Apple, to name a few. Start your online shopping at Easy Fundraising, then shop as normal. Retailers will make a small charity donation between 0.5% and 5% of your total spend, to say ‘thank you’. Top tip: download the ‘Donation Reminder’ on your computer which highlights when a donation is available across different sites, with no need to start your shopping at the Easy Fundraising site!
We need to fundraise £9,500 to pay for a month of care for our clients. As a major donor, trust or foundation you have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping make a difference.
Without the fantastic support we receive from our volunteers we simply wouldn’t be able to provide the service and care for our clients. No matter what you do, you’ll be playing a vital part in helping us achieve this. We also hope you’ll get lots out of your volunteering too; hands-on experience, learn new skills, meet new people, gain confidence and, most importantly, have fun!
