The Merle Boddy Centre is comfortable and well furnished and has a warm welcoming atmosphere. All of the facilities are accessible to all our members.
We have a small enclosed and secure garden area with seating for our members to enjoy. A perfect place for relaxation and social interaction. Members are also encouraged to take an interest in helping to look after the flowers and shrubs in the area.
We have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who care for the needs of all our service users. All staff attend ongoing professional development training.
We aim to offer all our members a warm welcome each day, giving support and help, both on a one-to-one basis and as a group by:
It has given my Mother something to look forward to each day she goes, and without fail, says what a fantastic day she had, and how nice everyone is. I know the care she receives there is excellent, and I now don't need to worry about her when she is there. I feel the staff all go above and beyond their roles to help make this a wonderful place - thankyou to everyone there, it is very much appreciated.
The centre is fantastic and that includes all the staff. They work tirelessly with the resources at their disposal. You can see how good they are by the smiling face of the "customers" as they leave after each session.
Outstanding staff and care for their individual residents. My husband loves going and has made good friends. Their quality of service is outstanding all round and so helpful. We wouldn't be without them.
